I was diagnosed with small cell in both lungs in Aug. 1993. I have gone through 3 chemo sessions. The last one being 3 years ago. The doctor told me that the time between is suppose to get shorter but mine gets longer. I decided to take my health into my own hands as well. I started taking high potency vitimins & minerals to boast my immune system to help fight the cancer. I feel better than ever. I am also studying herbs to help keep my healthy in all areas. I have a strong belief in GOD and truly believe that he has given us all in nature that we need to heal our bodies and so I have change my eating as well. I eat more fruits and veggies, fish and chicken and a little red meat. I stay away from all the processed food (have you read the labels). I believe that what they put in our food contributes to cancer. I think we must be very picky about what we eat and write to the gov. and get them to stop putting grow hormones into our food along with all the other poisons. God gave us food to heal us not to kill us and man puts poisons in our food. My tumors are still there but in remission. Diane, you say you are in remission...are your tumors gone? God Bless you all. Shari
