My mother suffered of a loss of appitite for aprox. 3 months. At first it was diagnosed as an ulcer. Since two weeks her stomage is removed. Due to several complications (f.e. a leak) she is still hospitalised and under Intensive Care. Her situation is slowly stabilising now (the leak has to cure itself), but her surgeon has given her no more than 6 months.
: I would like to do some research on Linitis Plastica and would appreciate any info that anyone could pass along, or even some web sights where I can read up on this particular type of cancer. Any stories and/or case studies would help our family to deal with this. Thank You
