My family has a pattern developed now of breast cancer, both my mother and grandmother had breast cancer. I've read and heard that breast cancer is genetic. Does this mean that I'm doomed to follow in their steps? I'm only 30 and I don't have any signs of breast cancer when I give myself self-exams. I eat healthy and am active. I'll appreciate any advice from those who had breast cancer or know someone who had breast cancer.
