: the radiation for lung cancer has resulted in an esophagel stricture and I cannot eat. I'd would like
: to hear from someone who has been through this......or is in the same situation. I have lost many
: pounds and getting too weak to even pursue a correcting procedure.
My husbane has been receiving radiation and chemo treatments for throat cancer. He did not have esophageal stridture but had severe radiation burn to his throat,
. He also lost extreme weight which led to a G-tube inserted to his stomach. He has since gained 7 pounds. At this point he is doing quite well on Ensure Plus through the G-tube.
The insertion of the tube is quite simple and the tube is not noticable under clothing.
I hope this helps
