I haven't opened up to anyone yet really, so bare with me. My dad is about the same age as your husband. Last year we were all living here in Oklahoma, and my dad couldn't swallow his food. He kept saying it was 'the same thing his mother had' some hernia. Well, they moved to Maine, and the next thing I knew he was undergoing treatments of chemo/radiation. That was like 6 months ago. Now the cancer has gone to his spine, spots on the liver, and in the brain. The doctors will not do anything else, only hook him up to iv's to rehydrate him. He's 129 lbs. The only thing that prepares me is faith. We're praying for divine healing, and if that doesn't happen I know he'll be with the Lord. I feel like I'm denying it, that he could go anytime now. I need to move where they are and help, or just be with him. I just don't know how to handle it. It's all happened so fast. If you want to open up to my mom "Connie", she needs it.
