billyrobb,
saw your posting on another site. i am sorry to hear about your brother. the truth is, it is never too early to get checked for prostate cancer. like you,
i have
a family history of the condition. a year and a half ago (at the age of 43), i was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
certain
people are genetically susceptible to the disease... there are a lot of resources out there to help you (and your
brother)
out. i encourage you both to familiarize yourself with the disease and the various different treatments. i also
suggest you
take the time to research the genetics involved with prostate cancer.

: my older brother was just diagnosed with prostate cancer, and he is only 32 years old! How can this be (isn't he too young)? i am desperately seeking information on the disease. is it hereditary (my father died a premature death, but his brother died at the age of 59 from prostate cancer)? when do i need to start getting checked (i am 25)?
