: Where does one find support in their own home town?
: I live in an area where there's very little available as far as help around the house & yard.
: I was told to call hospice, but I am not bed bound yet, despite the fact that I have stage IV breast to bone (spine) cancer.
: I have herniated a disc trying to do simple chores, and feel that I need help, but there are no volunteer services nearby.
: Any such help costs at least $10 per hour, ie yardwork or housecleaning. Or even nursing care. Any ideas?
: Thanks,
: Laura P
Laura, Please go to Amazon.com and order the book, "The Cancer Battle Plan" written by Ann and Dave Frohme (sp?)
I have sent this book to a relative who is stage IV melanoma of the liver. This started him on his way to an unbelievable nutrition
and eating plan. He has had 3 huge manly doses of chemo and because of this "plan" is on his way to recovery. His
doctor cannot believe his blood tests, etc. He will be getting a cat scan in a couple of weeks and we cannot wait
to see his results. Please get this book. It is not too late for you to help yourself. God Bless you.
