Hello Vanessa, I am sorry to hear, that you have been stricken with this sort of cancer. Good news is, it is very treatable. My 11 1/2 year old son was diagnosed with hodgkin's stage 4a. He has undergone special treatment, a trial study developed in Germany and also used here in the USA. His treatment is done on an outpatient basis with BEACOPP, then ABVD. He responded very quickly to the treatment. The only dilemma is, that we have to decide, wether to allow radiation treatment at the end. That is difficult!
You can read his story at http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/cavendish/1196/index.htm
Don't worry, you will get better, too.
