My mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 2 years ago. Right now she only has microscopic cancer. She was on several different chemos the first year but the last year she was on an anti-estrogen trial drug that got rid of all the cancer except microscopic cells. The problem now she has developed peripheral neuropathy that they cannot figure out the cause of. The neurologists have MRI, Catscanned every part of her body and ran numerous blood tests to only come up with no conclusion. Her oncologists says it could be caused by the cancer itself. Has anybody ever heard of this????? Help we are desperate for information. She is to the point were she cannot walk alone and can barely feed herself because her hands and feet are numb from the tips of her toes to her ankles and the tips of her fingers to her wrists. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
