If the doctors can not find a source of something that could be exerting pressure on her nerves, I don't know why they are so quick to dismiss the possibility of chemo-induced neuropathy. This is especially true if a platinum-based chemo was used. Has she tried Neurotin? This is a medication that is prescribed for neuropathy. It tends to either work or not work, depending on the patient. It would be worth it for your mother to try. Also, a combination of calcium and magnesium helped my husband. I hope your mother finds something that relieves this as she shouldn't be suffering.
