She was on some platinum based drugs but has not been on any for about 18 months so that's why they have ruled out the chemo. She has tried the neurotin for about 4 months and it hasn't done anything. The gave her a weeks worth of immunoglobulin and a weeks worth of high dose steroids at different times and neither of them has helped. The only thing they have determined is it caused do to inflammation of the nerve but don't know whats causing the inflammation. Thanks for your response.
