: artemis,

: She was on some platinum based drugs but has not been on any for about 18 months so that's why they have ruled out the chemo. She has tried the neurotin for about 4 months and it hasn't done anything. The gave her a weeks worth of immunoglobulin and a weeks worth of high dose steroids at different times and neither of them has helped. The only thing they have determined is it caused do to inflammation of the nerve but don't know whats causing the inflammation. Thanks for your response.

Lori,
What kind of clinical trial was your mom in? My mom has ovarian cancer too and it still doing chem (Taxol). I'd love to find something that will get rid of the cancer instead of
having her go through so much chemo. I worry that she will not be able to stand much more. She has has two reoccurrences and was originally diagnosed 3 years ago with
stage 3 (almost 4). My mom takes some medication for the numbness in her hands and feet. I will ask her what it is for you.

Please reply,
Natalie
