4 weeks ago I had a lymph node removed from my thyroid and the biopsy results say malt b-cell low -grade lymphoma, non-hodgkins. My oncologist has ordered cat-scans & a bone marrow biopsy to see if the NHL is anywhere else. Has anyone had a bone marrow biopsy (or experience w/this type of cancer)? I've heard the bone marrow biopsy is very painful. I would appreciate any feedback about this test, anything to prepare for it, etc. Thank you!
