: : my father has a prostate cancer. The cancer is very aggresive and has already distributed to the bones. For 4 months he got hormonal treatment, the situation has improved for a while. But now PSA shows cancer is reacting. We are looking for information about ways to stop the cancer even info. on clinic experiment concerning this issue.
Ronen....I am distressed to hear of the problem your dad is having with Prostate Cancer, I have the same problem, some six years ago I found I was suffering prostate cancer after having a routene "blood test" my P.S.A. reading was eleven
(normal-zero to four) for some four years I attended a Specialist and we, during that time, elected to use the "wait and watch" routene, eventually my P.S.A. elevated to 26 and biopsy test indicated 2 areas of cancer, early this year I attended 36 treatments of "Radiation Treatment" after this treatment my P.S.A. reading dropped to 3 and is expected to drop further. I wander if your dad has or his doctor has given thought to
"Radiation Theropy" it at the present time appears to have been benificial in my case, incidently I am 74 years of age, I wish you every success with your problem dad, he is very fortuneate to have such a "caring" person as yourself...Dan Foster. in Australia...
