Hello. My husband has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and has undergone several bone marrow biopsies. We have found that if the doctor waits at least 5 to 10 minutes after giving a shot to numb the area, it helps greatly with the pain. Unfortunately, it is a painful test, but very necessary. He was originally diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma stage IV B. This test determined the correct diagnosis. My prayers are with you and your family. Take care.
