My mother was recently diagnosed with gallbladder cancer. From what I've read it is an uncommon type of cancer and very dangerous. Does anyone have any information on this kind of cancer? It is called adenocarcinoma and was found after a gallbladder removal. My mother is 72 years old and has always been in great health. The oncologist is recommending radiation and a low dosage of chemotherapy for the first week and last week of the radiation.
I've searched the web extensively and haven't found much information for this kind of cancer. Does anyone know anything??? And how can someone feel fine and yet be diagnosed with cancer?
Thanks so much,
Martha
