: All I know about it is that it is rare. The doctor removed it all, thinking it was melinoma, but the biopsy came back saying it was Bowen's Disease. I understand that sometimes it signifies internal cancer, but I was told there is no other procedure, because it was all removed when he did the biopsy.
nord or the national organization of rare diseases has your diease on file in their data base. for a small fee (i think its under 10, they will send you a mailing with all the information they have in their database on it, and i think they might be able to tell you if there are any support groups for it) to find them there either location under national organization of rare diseases or the office of rare diseases the advantage to you for getting this information is that when your dealing with rare conditions doctors sometimes don't always have everything they need to know about it, and they also don't have experiance in dealing with rare conditons, that's where information can help. good luck to you, i am sure they could give you all the info you need
