: THE DAY GOD CALLED YOU HOME...
: God looked around his Garden and found and an empty place.
: He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
: He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
: His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
: You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide.
: You live on through your family, you're always by our side.
: It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
: For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.
: My name is Kristine. I found this on the net somewhere. I lost my beautiful mother 10 months ago to uterine cancer. The pain is still heavy as the day she passed, but this poem has brought me great comfort. Approaching my first mother's day without her will be devasting, but we find comfort in what we can. My step-mother just recovered from breast cancer and now she is cancer free. There is hope and love and prayer helps. I am 25 years old and got alot of support from friends, and I would like to share with anyone who wants to talk. I've been there.
I too lost my mom in my early twenties, that was almost 7 years ago and i am now going through it all again with my mother-in-law. So, I've been there too but even after 7 years I still wake up and think about her, your post reminded me of myself and you are right- the pain does not dissapate. But talking about it and remembering is the key to healing so kudos to you for reaching out and helping others. I hope at the same time you reap the benefits yourself.
please email me as i think we have lots in common!
Take care, jenn
