After excisional biopsy revealed "low-grade malignancy" phylloides tumor, I have to have more surgery in Oct. to achieve clear margins. My surgeon doesn't feel the need for me to see an oncologist, but I made appointments with 2 onco's anyway. I cannot shake the feeling that it has spread, b/c I have a cough (I'm 34, and have been a smoker for 17 years), and my bowel habits have changed over the past 6 months. Is it normal to feel like I'm going behind my doc's back??
