: I'm sorry to hear about your lose. I know from losing my mother in July that it is hard. My prayers and love are with you. If you need someone to talk to who understands just email me. Maggie

: : i just want to thank everyone who answered my posts, and say my mother died in her sleep last week from small cell metastis to the liver. she only lasted two weeks from the time they found it. she had gone through chemo in jan-mar, went into remission and entered a clinical trial. she had speech sluring for a while, and her doctors wouldn't order any tests. apparently they think the toxins from a non functioning liver damaged her brain. she was in a coma state when she died. if you are in remission from small cell please be careful about metastasis. it kills quick if left unchecked. it is interesting that while surgeons are held responsible for their patients deaths, oncologists patients deaths are always blamed on the cancer

Dear maggie how did your mother find out about the
metastasis?was it through a blood test? what were her symptoms, what kind of treatments did she have.you see there is so much cancer in my famly, all I can learn might help one of them. please e-mail me.thanks helen
