I had a bleeding hemmorrhoid last month. It went away when I used more fiber in my diet and drank more water. I have a BM and there was bright red streaks,a friend of mine told me not to worry only if the blood is dark do you worry. My half-brother had colon cancer surgery 10 yrs. ago and my mom just had cancer surgery last week. I'm 45 yrs. old,m,and I'm scared.
Do they give you sedatives when they do a colonscopy? That is the only way that I would have one done,
My g/f knows nothing of this and I prefer to keep it that way for now. Thanks!!
