Eve, My mother was dx with SCLC 4-5-2000 and died 7-27-2000. Like your mother she did not take any treatments. She was 74 when she died. I hope you live near your mother and can spend alot of time with her. I was able to live with my mother the last 2 months of her life. She was also with Hospice. The pain got out of control more than once. When they finally had to start morphine IV she went into a coma after less than two days and died 3 days later. Her cancer had started in the right lung and broncial tubes. It was quiet large when they found it and it spread to her right shoulder and brain, and probably other parts.
