My dad was diagnosed with liver cancer which the doctors think is inoperable because it is right smack in the middle of the liver and because there are cancerous cells on the top of the liver almost touching other arteries. They are going to do a liver puncture and put a camera in there and most likely do a balloon procedure and burn or zap out the cancerous part. Has anyone ever had this done or knows someone who does. What should we expect out of this. Is it painful? We are supposed to take a trip 2 weeks after he has this done and I am wondering if he will be up to going. Thanks so much.
