Amy- What type of lung cancer did your mom have-small cell or non-small cell? I was curious because my mother was diagnosed with small cell in July and is currently taking chemo and radiation. The doctors are suggesting PCI at the end of her treatments because they say that women have a high chance of the cancer spreading to the brain. She is not sure whether or not to take these extra radiation treatments. What type of treatments did your mom have for her lung cancer?I wish her the best of luck!
