Hi,
My father has had this type of cancer 3x now. in the last 4 years. This is very frustrating as it is not common and not much information available. I am still searching for answers. I will be here to support you in any way I can. Today my father is having a cystoplast done to check again. My fingers are crossed. My Uncle by marriage is also suffering with this type.
There are so many alternative medicines being advertsied now a days. You cannot trust any of them. As far as clinical trials go there are many for other types of cancer. I am not sure about this one, frankly I am very confused about it.
You could try the web site sharedexperiences.org
There is some information there
There is also a web site called steve dunns cancer guide. He had kidney cancer and is along term survivor. I am not sure if that is the same type of cancer or not. It is all so confusing to me. Sorry I am not much more help. I will keep looking. Please keep me posted if you find something.
Good Luck.
Monique
My father in law had a nephrectomy one year ago for renal cancer. At that time, he had a metastatic workup which was negative. Unfortunately, he was found to have recurrance in the chest recently. I know that there is no effective chemo or radiation therapy available. Does anyone know of any trials going on for experimental treatment such as vaccines, etc? Time appears to be dwindling rapidly for any potentially useful intervention. No nonsense please. Please help.
