there are lots of therapies being used in clinical trials for this type of cancer. there's treatment with il-2 (i don't know if he's had that) Different vaccanation trials also. the most suprising trial is a level 3 using shark cartlige. that was very suprising to me. i always thought that was useless, but I know there are very strict proof that has to be shown before a trial is moved up to a 3. I'd say its worth you checking it out. its specifically for metastatic renal cancer. in this trial some people get a placebo, but maybe you could figure you'r way through that. good luck, hope you find something that helps you.
