Hello. I know exactly how you are feeling. I have a debilitating fear of cancer, and have posted a message about my digestive problems. I just know I either have colon or ovarian cancer. As for you, I have had exactly what you are talking about. Once it went away after a while with no problems, but another time I had a virus. You have a lot of lymph nodes behind your head and I had one that was inflammed from the virus. Mine was hard, like you said, and it was tender to the touch. This is probably what you have, but I think you should still go to the doctor to be sure. You can never be too careful. It always makes me feel better when I hear about someone else having the same thing. I hope you feel better. Take Care, Janet
