Christine, ALWAYS keep a ray of hope. I am a 7 year survivor of small cell lung cancer. I have gone through chemo 3 times. My last time being 3 years ago. I have two tumors one in the right lung and one in the left. I am not cured but I am stable. And with the grace of GOD I will remain stable for a long time to come. Do try to get him to quit smoking if he hasn't already and get some GOOD NATURAL high potency vitimins to help boost up his immune system. Stay away from red meats and eat plenty of fruits and veggies. And most of all keep faith. I pray your father is well and stays well. Shari
