My 82 year old mother was diagnosed 2 1/2 weeks ago. She will start 5 days of radiation to her spine (T4) this week to control some of the pain that she is having in her back. We have been told that she has only months to live. Does anyone have a similar situation? We want to keep her at home and pain free until the end.
