: I have a very close friend who has mouth cancer primary tumour is on the tongue, that has spread to other areas. The approach is Pallitive Care only..because of other problems that I will not go into. He is aware that he is dying and I suspect we are talking weeks here.
: We can not seem to get any information on what can happen with this cancer.
: I work in a Home for the Aged so have witnessed death, but have never seen this type of cancer before.
Sharon, my aunt also has mouth cancer, is in a nursing home, and is receiving pallitive care. Like you, I can't find out very much info on it.Some days she is lucid, others she just sleeps al day and night. I don't know how much longer she will be with us. If you locate any info, please let me know and I will do the same for you.God Bless.
