You mean MRSA, which is antibiotic resistant staph. It really depends on where the infection is. If it is in a wound that is covered with a bandage at all times then no, only the nurses or doctors that care for the wound need to take precautions. If it is in their urine or feces then yes they should be under isolation and precautions should be taken not to spread it thru the nursing home. I am a former charge nurse and worked in nursing homes for years and am now retired.
