Hi,
She may be fearful of another fall, angry about losing control and so trying to control you and dumping her anger on you because you represent her loss of control, and she seems to be getting away with this with you, and she may be fearful of the knowlege that she is going to die (who knows when, but loss of control makes us face the inevitability of death).

I suggest you try asking her what she is afraid of or IF she is afraid or wants to express her fears and concerns, and that you will listen to her feelings, but if she is verbally abusive you will not do anything for her you know she can do for herself. Period.
You can tell her you know she is angry, but you did make her situation and you only wish to help her.

If this fails I suggest you talk to your friend and tell her you cannot subject yourself to abuse and you are sorry you cannot help her...this will ruin your health with stress if it does not let up. God bless you for your patience and desire to understand. Take care of yourself.
