: Mom has Alzheimers, we have run ourselves into the ground and now pay 5 different people to care for her. I am interested in finding a live in care giver to provide consistancy and reduce costs. Her money will not last for long but she has a home. What is the best way to find a live in care giver. If you know of a registery or listing or something, please let me know. We live in Gainesville, Florida if that helps. Thanks for any help.

Hi Margo:

First of all......big ((hugs)) to you. I am a Home Health Nurse and I am registered with a Nursing Agency. I choose to do so as not only are my clients screened....I'm screened for the client's info. My Agency does a wonderful job of matching us with the right clients and vice versa for the families. We are bonded, fingerprinted and have passed numerous tests to be able to work within people's homes. I highly recommend an Agency, Margo.

Good luck to you, dear.

Sandy
