I have taken care of my mother-in-law for two years now. She moved in with us after she had three amputations (both legs and one arm). My husband is a type 1 diabetic and has medical problems. We have two children which we adore. My problem is, that my mother-in-law has never thanked me for anything I do for her.......cleaning, washing, feeding, bathing, dressing, taking her to and from daycare daily. She has told us that we are not to leave her alone. My husband is allowed to go out, but if I set foot out the door she is angry with me for days !! I feel entirely overwhelmed and feel I just cannot handle this anymore. Is it wrong to feel that way? I do think it is time to look for an assisted living center for her. It has started to come between our marriage and our children seem resentful that she is there. Please express your thoughts....they are very much appreciated. Thank you Jo
