Mary, the lump on the one wrist is called a ganglion cyst -- it won't go away on it's own. Either having it drained, or having surgery, is the only way to get rid of it. The pain in the other wrist, is probably a recurrance of the carpal tunnel. You need to talk to your doctor, about both wrists.
