Hi Hazel, There area bunch of new writing instruments out there that can help reduce the amount of pressure you normally use. I would suggest doing a search on "ergonomic pens," and I think you'll find some surprising information. I don't think Line Size of your notebooks is the key. Reduce the amount of squeezing and you'll reduce the discomfort. You may be able to do that on your own with a consious effort. Carl : Hello, : I have been suffering from carpal tunnel for a few years and have found that writing really aggravates my condition. I do much planning on a daily basis and use paper with very small lines. A friend of mine suggested that I use paper with wider lines as well as a daily planner which has more room to write. I was told that a large binder/organizer with a bigger writing area might help. I would greatly appreciate any advice that you have to offer re: writing & the size planners/organizers that you use. Thank you in advance for taking the tme to respond. : Most Sincerely, : Hazel Donnelly
