Posted by Tom on May 10, 2000 at 13:28:42: I was wondering what are the complications if any from surgery on a ganglion on the wrist. Can other nerves or bones be adversely affected? Does the doctor do it with local anathesia so that I can be awake when they do it? Also, does one get the complete use of the hand and wrist again - to do pushups, exercise, etc.? How long is the recovery? How expensive is it? Thank you.
