: Hi,My name is Sharon. My daughter also has Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. She is only 19 years old, Our family Dr. sent her for a X-ray, He did not believe it was that, He thought it was a Ganglion cyst, nothing showed up on the X-ray thats because that doesn't. She has had alot of pain from this, to the point of tears. She is a waitress, for only 4 mos. she found out this was Carpel Syndrome through the Emergency room. I hate to see anyone go through life hurting like that. I pray that there will be an answer to this condition very soon for each and everyone of you that have it Thanks for your infomation.
I have had carpal tunnel since the beginning of the year. i have seen dr. after dr. about this and all diagnosed me with the same thing but different remedies. I have been on several different anti-inflamitories/pain relievers. I was told to take a leave of absence from my job for 4 weeks. I'm am now going back but still afraid that it's going to get bad again since I do alot of typing at work. I also have subital tunnel. That is nerve damage to the ulna nerve in elbow. I was just diagnosed with this. I know the pain your daughter is going through. i have to wear a splint along with elbow pad and i have to keep arm straight at night. One thing that really helped was wearing splint at night, since I do tend to curl my hands up at night. My doctor also told me to take vitamin B-6 for this. Can't just yet tell you how it's working on me since I just started taking it a day ago. But I will give you results.
