: Cathy, I was just wondering if you were pregnant when you had the cortizone shot. I am 24 weeks pregnat with twins and I have had cts from almost the very beginning. I used to be able to bear the pain but it has gotten worse. My doctor sent me for the wrist splits and they have not worked. It's gotten so bad I hardly sleep at night. Hi!
I recieved one cortizon shot when I was pregnant. It made a very big difference immediately, but wore off after 3 months. I am now after the baby and am going to reacess my hands since the symptoms now are much different. I was considering doing the surgery during pregnancy but the doctor recommended not to. In retrospect I am very glad.I know this is an old posting but maybe it will help someone looking now.
