: I have had CTS twice. Both times I had surgery. The second time was a year ago. I went back to work as an administrative assistant. Now I'm having problems again, but they seem different this time. It is really effecting my thumb and my hand becomes very weak. If I type during the day, my hand hurts after a while but writing is almost unbearable. Even just writing out a check. I have found a large barrel ball point pen that helps a little. Even doing thing around the house like making dinner is painful. I am going back to my doctor next week but I'm wondering if anyone has had these symptoms and been diagnoses with CTS. Or is it something else. My husband doesn't make enough money for me to stay at home so I'm desperate for some answers. Thanks, Lisa
I also had problems with writing before I had my surgery for CTS...I would say you probably aggravated it..good luck!
