I was reading your post and thought I would tell you my experience. I had carpal tunnel surgery done on my left hand in April. It didn't get better just worse. My doctor said I didn't need therapy either, he just kept dragging it out and told me I probably had a disorder like reflex sympathetic dystrophy. I got a second opinion from a hand surgeon. The problem is from scar tissue. He said I should have been in therapy and he hopes I don't have to have a second surgery. You can see the scar tissue now and therapy is helping so much. So I guess I would recommend to anybody to get a second opinion if you don't feel things are right. I am still not back to work because of it. I would say to take care and not to use it too much. Hope this helps.
