: I had the open surgery 3 days ago. I was told to return to work 10 days from surgery, but not to type for six weeks. That's all the instructions I got. He also said I didn't need physical therapy.

: Can you tell me how much I can use my hand? It's my right hand, and my tendency is to keep trying to do things with it. Is that harmful? Thanks!

Just wanted you to know, I had surgery on my right hand 2 years ago....I couldn't bend my wrist all the way for the full year afterwards...one day my daughter jumped on me and my hand popped! It sounded like she broke it!well, i was then able to bend my wrist! It must have been scar tissue built up. I never had therapy either. i also had my left hand done this past year and that wrist is fine,no therapy either..i wish you luck!
