Hello I am new here and I have a few problems that Dr's can't seem to pin point. Let me first say that I have had deQuervain surgery in my left wrist already and I tend to have tendonitis often but no Dr can fix the problems I having now. In Feb I smashed my thumb on my right hand. I went to the ER and he released the blood and also told me I had torn a ligament or tendon in my thumb. So I was casted for a couple of weeks. I started noticing numbness when I would use my hand. It was in the thumb, and most of my other fingers but not too much in my pinky finger. It also went into my wrist and I had a stinging pain when I would turn my wrist on put my index finger and thumb together. Well No one seems to know what is wrong. First they say I have CTS then it is my nerve and it is either a pinched nerve or a damaged one. Man I am confused. When I use my hand it does hurt some, kinda a boring pain but I do experience sharp pain sometime. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. It is only getting worse and I do type on a computer some but it isn't a job. I use my hands mostly in working with animals.( big strong dogs too) But I have had jobs working on computers and as a cashier. As for the pain in my elbow. It is sharp and I have less strengh in my arm. It comes and goes usually lasiting a few months at a time. Thanks, Raven aka Deborah
