usually my hands get the tingeling/falling asleep feeling before the numbness. after numbness then comes waves of pain going from my wrist to tips of fingers. has your Dr given you a prescription for amitriptyline yet? it can help calm down your hands and let you actually sleep thru the night. I had surgery on both hands (2 weeks between surgeries) and am trying to get it approved for surgery again. scar tissue has formed and my employer put me back into the same work environment soon after my case was closed.
