I went back to work 2 weeks after my second surgery (was still loyal to the company I work for). I started at 3 hours a day and gradually increased my hours. Insist on a post operative nerve test so in case carpal tunnel returns you'll have a baseline to compare any future tests. Insist on going to a hand therapist. I am regretting now doing the hand therapy on my own at home. I am currently fighting my employer to get surgery done again. don't let your employer try to say what you're doing at home (daily living tasks) is what is causing your condition to worsen. L&I has informed me that is unlawful. good luck on returning to work. : Can you tell me how much I can use my hand? It's my right hand, and my tendency is to keep trying to do things with it. Is that harmful? Thanks!
