I filed a workers comp claim for CTS. I had the emg test done which showed I had moderate heading towards severe CTS. The neurologist does not recommend surgery at this point. I am taking nortryptaline and wearing splints. The symptoms first began in my 7th month of pregnancy and have gotton worse upon my return to work. I am currently on a restricted work schedule and have worked on a computer at the same co for over 12years. The company has sent me to see an IME-independent medical exam...who saw me for about 5min. He will make a determination to the employer whether or not he feels my cts is work related. Does anyone have any more info on workmans comp and cts. Is the burden of proof more so on the employer or employee? I do not have a lawyer and plan on attending the pretrial hearing without one.
