I do not have a post op., but I would like to know the answer. I was just anounced with this today and was told it was severe. I am not sure either. I have heard the same horror stories. I play Racquetball and do not want to give it up, because I have this "problem", but it hurts....
: One Dr. was ready to schedule me for surgery, the other said he believes in the surgery only if the pain, from CTS is so bad that I can not stand it. My pain is very bad,it extends from my hand up to my elbow. It's so hard to open jars,I do not have the grip I once had. It also is difficult to write. I have heard that the sugery does not help. The Dr. said, after I wore the brace,it was getting worse.I do not know whether to have the surgery or not? That is what I am not sure about.
