: How often durring Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release surgery does the median nerve get cut? : And how long will the pain last? Just had it done eight weeks ago. Complete success. I would recommend going to a Hand Surgeon rather than an Orthopedist, unless he specializes in hands. No more symptoms of the carpal tunne, but almost immediately upon return to work seem to be developing cubital tunnel in the opposite hand, I've read a lot on the net lately and this almost seem sto be common. Great life huh?
