If the symptoms come after giving birth, it sounds like hypothyroidism, which is common after giving birth. It is the cause of post partum depression too. Many thyroids cannot cope with the hormone changes. Thyroid's job is to balance hormones and body chemicals.
See an endocrinologist not other specialists.
