I have it, all the symtoms, but nothing shows up when they (work) send me for tests, because they also tell me to ease up on typing. Then they tell me since they can't find it, I don't have it. But my hands are numb, wrists hurt, weakness in hands... doesn't that sound like it to you? I have been diagnosed with DeQuervain's Teniosyvitis (sp) which is the CTS of the thumb, and they gave me a thumb brace to wear. I could not pick up things with my left hand because of incredible pain in my thumb. That has since subsided, but comes back now and then.
: Was wondering if anyone has been diagnosisedwith carpal tunnel and has symptoms that comeand go. I am having alot of trouble being diagnoised with CTS through WorkComp, if you have read my posts youd understand. I am just starting to wonder myself what it can be, i have all the symptoms of carpal tunnel but since i been out of work they are only trigged and last a few days in severe pain after i do something, like mow the lawn, TYPING, yard work, gardening, video games. Then all the symptoms come back, but i do very often get the pain unless i use my wrists, is that possible for CTS? thanks for the advise.
